New and Repeat Prescriptions (updated 30 Mar 23)
If you are given a new prescription by your GP or Nurse, please understand that the Electronic Prescribing Service (EPS) action from when the GP or Nurse actions this online for you can take a little while to feed through to your pharmacy - please be patient and the pharmacy recommends that patients ring their registered pharmacy to confirm when your medications will be ready to collect.
For repeat prescriptions, the same also applies and please indicate clearly the items requested on the slip received with your last medication and forward it to the surgery.
Requests can also be made in writing or by completing one of the forms available at reception. Requests may be taken or posted to the surgery.

Please do not telephone the surgery for repeat prescriptions.
Please allow three working days (72 hours) for us to process your prescription and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
ALSO please be aware there may be a delay at the Pharmacy when dispensing your request if the medication needs to be ordered in by the Pharmacy.
Medication Reviews
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.
Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
